Ecological grain and meat production establishment. LOCATION The establishment is located on a National Route in the Province of Santa Fe, within the boundaries of the provincial departments of 9 de Julio and Vera. This city has a large population of approximately 150,000 and offers basic services that constitute useful resources for our agricultural growth, e.g.: airport, Paraná river port, hospitals and medical care units, courthouses, etc. It also has an important trade and agro-industrial infrastructure mostly associated with agricultural exploitation. Other industries include meat processing plants for cattle slaughtering, oil manufacture -especially sunflower oil- and crop-farming machinery manufacture (ploughs, harrows, balers, etc.). There are also large shops and trade centers where it is relatively simple to get all types of supplies, seeds, agrochemical products, vet products and any other item necessary for exploitation.
SURFACE: 192,000 ha. USE: Crop and livestock farming.




GENERAL LAND CHARACTERISTICS The area is flat grassland of clayey soil. Its preparation will depend on the type of exploitation intended by the landowner since these lands are, in general, useful both for crop-farming and livestock breeding. RAINFALL The characteristics of the soil and the rainfall level, which in the last few years exceeded 1300 mm per year and higher in summer, make the area suitable for crop and livestock production. AGRICULTURE Today, this establishment has 50,000 ploughed-up hectares, which can be used for traditional or direct sowing, with a significant percentage of organic material. Crops include, preferably: sunflower, sorghum, corn, cotton and wheat. Today the establishment has 27,000 ha. of different pastures such as: mellilotus, barley, clover, etc. STOCKBREEDING The establishment has 68,000 heads of cattle. A large percentage of the establishment has natural pastures rich in protein such as mormon tea, white clover, paspalum, etc. It is worth mentioning that every agricultural enterprise implemented in the establishment must be aimed at obtaining an ecological product. ESTABLISHMENT INFRASTRUCTURE Access and roads Access to the farmhouse is excellent since it consists in an elevated gravel road only a few kilometers away from an asphalted road. The remaining ways of access to the various farmhouses are open the entire year and roads never get blocked, not even during the rainy season. The entire establishment is interconnected through internal and external paths, elevated and flattened, built using expensive road equipment suitable for this type of stretches of land. Thus, almost the entire estate can be inspected with ordinary cargo vehicles of any kind. ELECTRIC POWER The establishment boasts its magnificence and self-sufficiency as regards power through large powerful generators that operate based on diesel engines and industrial-like infrastructure. LIGHTING The power network of the establishment lightens accesses and roadsides across many kilometers; a distinctive characteristic not found in any other rural establishment. The lighting system is composed of lighting posts located every 30 mts. or 50 mts. These posts have quality iodine and mercury halogen lamps, and are to date in perfect conditions. The lighting and power supply for parks, landlord house areas, employee housing and work areas such as barns is obtained from the same power network. All these furnishings contribute to a state-of-the-art rural establishment.
